CONTACT YOUR MICHIGAN LEGISLATORS - SUPPORT LEGISLATION FOR MICHIGAN CHARITIES

Statewide elections always bring new faces to the Michigan Legislature. That means it’s more important than ever for MiCGA members and charitable organizations to help educate legislators—new and returning alike—about how vital charitable gaming is to the communities they serve.
MiCGA is dedicated to advocating for the interests of charities and the services they provide. But we need your help to make sure your voice is heard. Reach out to your elected officials and let them know that charitable gaming makes a real difference in your community—and that you are counting on their support for reintroduced charitable gaming legislation.
Without the funds raised through charitable gaming fundraisers, many nonprofits would struggle to fulfill their missions or provide essential services to countless individuals across Michigan.
How You Can Help
✅ Contact your Michigan Senator and Representative.
Tell them how charitable gaming supports your mission and your community.
✅ Personalize your message.
For example: “Funds raised through charitable gaming allow our nonprofit to provide 1,000 backpacks to children in need each year.” Real stories make a lasting impact.
✅ Use our sample letter.
